| The city of Dripping Springs
is located on Hwy 290, just 18 miles west of Austin, or 15
miles west of the "Y" at Oak Hill. The Founders
Day Festival can best be located by seeking out the intersection
of Mercer Street and RR 12, two blocks north of Hwy 290.

- From
Austin, Oak Hill, or Bastrop, drive
west on Hwy 290 to Dripping Springs.
- From
San Marcos or Wimberley, take RR12 North
into Dripping Springs.
- From
Kyle, drive up Hwy 150, turn right onto RR12, and
proceed into Dripping Springs.
- From
Bee Caves, Lakeway, Spicewood, Marble
Falls, Llano, or Burnett, take Hwy 71
and turn onto Hamilton Pool Rd in Bee Caves, then turn
left onto RR12 and go South into Dripping Springs.
- From
Cedar Park, Leander, Jonestown, or
Lago Vista, take RR620 to the end, turn right on
Hwy 71, then left on Hamilton Pool Rd, then left onto
RR12 to Dripping Springs.
- From
San Antonio or Blanco, proceed North on
Hwy 281, then East on Hwy 290 to Dripping Springs.
- From
Johnson City proceed South on Hwy 281, then East
on Hwy 290 into Dripping Springs.
- From
New Braunfels or Canyon Lake, proceed north
on I-35 and take RR12 North from San Marcos.
